Installing the software
ZOTAC SPECTRA is a proprietary RGB control application that first came out some years ago. It works with ZOTAC hardware and controls the integrated RGB lighting that is. MESSAGE FROM THE SCEPTRE TEAM ON COVID-19. The third generation Spectra Geospatial Ranger™ Data Collector offers a large bright touch-screen, full alpha-numeric, easy to operate, keypad, and is packed with the features surveyors depend on. Built rugged, it meets rigorous MIL-STD-810G military standard for drops, vibration, humidity and extreme temperatures, and with an IP67 rating, it’s designed to keep your investment.

System requirements for the latest version of SpectraMagic NX are listed after the Installation procedure.
If you are using a previous version of SpectraMagic NX, please uninstall the old SpectraMagic NX before installing the new one. (See installation Guide for more detail)
IMPORTANT: If upgrading, be sure to unplug the HASP key before uninstalling the previous version of SpectraMagic NX and the previous HASP driver. Attempting to uninstall with the HASP key plugged in may prevent uninstall from being performed properly.
Installation procedure
Spectra Drivers
- Save the download file (for example, smnx_verxxx_eng.zip, where xxx is the software version number) to a folder on your computer.
- Extract the files in the downloaded zip file to a folder on your computer.
- Double-click the exe file (for example, smnx_verxxx_eng.exe, where xxx is the software version number) in the files extracted in step 1. The install program will start automatically.
- Read the software license agreement carefully. If you accept the terms of the agreement, select 'I accept the terms in the license agreement' and click Next.
- The set-up program asks you to choose the folder in which you want to install the software. To install the software in another location, click the Change button, browse to the desired location and click OK.
- Click Next.
- Click Install. The set-up program will begin copying the files.
- The installation process will be completed. Click Finish.

Note: If upgrading, plug the HASP key into the computer before starting SpectraMagic NX for the first time.
