And you would too if you ever had to work with it. It’s an old software RAID card from Dell that runs like a turd. Some of the benchmarks I’ve run put it well BELOW typical SATA speeds. But I wanted to recycle an old Dell PowerEdge 830 as a Windows 2008 DC and that’s what I had to work with. I went to support.dell.com and input the systems service tag, but this card wasn’t even listed as having ever existed. Thanks Dell.

(Edit – This IS a hardware RAID card, not a software one. Runs like one though. Also, Dell broke the links below… oh well, I’ve retired the server that was running this anyway. If you really need to use this card, someone in the comments mentioned using Adaptec drivers.)
